Rausch is welcoming our customers, dealers, and business partners to join us next week for our annual customer appreciation day 2018. The event will be held in our new unified facility, with training classes offered throughout the day and a special thank-you lunch by CJs!
Please let us know if you are able to join us – the classes are full already, but if you’re local we would love to have you. Last minute sign up!
In addition to our Rausch products, we will feature the support of other industry stalwarts, such as IMS Robotics and POSM software.
Also, we have updated our Online Directions Page, to help make sure you find the right location – this building is so new, we don’t show up on every GPS.

The PureView SD is a new product from RauschUSA which you may have seen before – but now we have an official partnership with POSM’s Panomorph software package – posmsoftware.com/panomorph
The Pure View SD connects to the same L135 tractor/crawler we use for mainline inspections. Just like the KS135, it connects directly to the electric lift to remotely raise and center the camera in pipe sizes ranging from 8-48″ in diameter using software macro functions. The new camera is a modular upgrade to any existing mainline or lateral launch Rausch L135 system.
A Panomorph inspection run is far simpler than a typical mainline inspection – you start the inspection, and set the cruise control on the L135 to drive forward, and stop it at the next manhole. With the L135’s anti-rollover function, the camera will steer itself down the pipe. Using the Pure View SD camera, the operator does not need to stop and note damages and defects during the inspection – POSM Panomorph creates a PDF using “360° Pipe Unwrapping” which is used to review and inspect the entire pipe after the inspection is complete.
A unique feature of the Rausch Pure View SD is that this is still a conventional CCTV Inspection Camera, which records video at 30 FPS constantly during the inspection. The operator can stop and inspect a defect in real-time at any time, because they are viewing a live video feed from the pipe.

At the 2018 WWETT Show, we introduced our new LATRAS lateral tracking system to the North America market. LATRAS is a modular upgrade to the Rausch M-Series product line for the automatic measuring and graphic documentation of the pipe laterals, which are displayed on a map overlay with GPS precision.
The distance, position, and depth coordinates are registered constantly in parallel with the inspection and allow the documentation of the laterals at the same time without any significant additional work for the operator using automatic data logging software. With this new and important information about the pipe system mapped out on a GPS plane, the quality of the inspection is considerably improved.
